File Submission Guidelines
You can download a copy of my PDF document titled 'File Submission Guidelines for Prepress'. This was orginally written as an exercise as I was preparing for my Adobe certification exams, but it evolved in to a fairly useful bit of information. It's intent is to help print designers (and wannabe's) to prepare documents that print as intended without errors and production delays.
This version is 'branded' for my employer, but if you are a printer and would like your own customized version, please let me know, we can work something out.

I'm working on a series of video tutorials demonstrating 'best practices' when designing documents intended for print. They will show the corrective measures that prepress workers commonly need to make to incoming files. If you make things easier for the prepress guys, you will save time and money, and we won't curse and denegrade you behind your back.
